"Hey Rod.....Any other points you want to add to the end of the week on weather?"
"We could talk about the wind and how it affects you. Did you know that if there was no wind, the north would be so cold and the equator regions would get so hot that they would become uninhabitable? The wind is what keeps everything at a moderate temperature. Also, did you know that water (like a lake) absorbs 75% of the solar energy known as radiation, a snow capped meadow 25% (because the snow reflects the sun rays), grasslands absorbs 85%, while a dense forest will absorb 95% of the radiation sent it's way. Lastly, most of the suns energy is lost in space, only 43% actually reaches earth. Can you imagine if we were to get 100% of that energy? I don't think we'd last long living on the surface of this amazing planet, we'd be cooked like Grandma's bannock in deep fried bacon grease."
