This is what we're about. We here at R U READY SURVIVAL have lots of experience in the outdoors. Everything from hunting and trapping to fishing and camping. We've lived in the bush with no power, telephone or TV. Our closest neighbor was five miles away and the closet store (a trading post) was 53 miles away. Our main food staple was moose, deer, and fish. In the fall when the ducks and geese were migrating, we'd have a bit of a change in our menu. So yes, we've been there, done that. We are at home in the woods and know what you need to survive in the wilderness. But we also know that a lot of the biggest dangers are closer to home. There's a lot to worry about in this day and age. Hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, the list goes on and on.

When it comes to survival, you need a plan. We want to help you plan, because there are a lot of things to plan for. We all know you need food and water to survive, but what if all the food and water was suddenly taken away from you, without any warning. Wham, it's all gone and you and your family are left with nothing but the clothes on your back. That's the part that we want to help you prepare for. That's why it's so important for you be ready, and know what to do if this unthinkable event ever happens to you and your family.

I've heard people say "if any kind of disaster comes about, I'll move to the bush and live off of the land." Can you imagine 100 million people running to the bush, and trying to "live off the land." It's not going to happen. With that being said, if you plan it right, you may not have to, but if you had absolutely no other choice, no other options, you could be one of the lucky ones to know what to do and do it well.
