Simple recipes for marinading PIKE.
Fillet fish & cut into bite sized pieces or strips
in a large zip lock bag,mix 1/4-1/2 cup white cooking wine
&1/8- 1/4 cup lemon pepper seasoning
add half the fish.
In second zip lock bag mix 1/4-1/2 cup sweet soy sauce
(you can usually find this in the Asian section of your grocery store)
1-2 Tbsp chili pepper flakes
add remaining fish
Leave in fridge overnight
Remove fish from marinade & fry in a lightly coated oil frying pan over medium heat.
My husband came up with these recipes after catching a 9 lb pike while out ice fishing. I usually don't care for the taste of pike, however I can honestly say this was some of the tastiest fish I have EVER eaten!!!!
