"Hey Rod..... if you had to go back and live off grid, how would you do it now?"
"Life would be so different now. Kids are all grown and have families of their own, so that makes a difference in the size of a cabin. There are so many little things that I have now that I didn't have back then. More tools to work with, both hand and power (way too many to list), generator, solar panels, deep cycle batteries, water pump & hose, water filters, head-lamps, a wide collection of nuts bolts & washers, cordless drills, a real variety of screws and nails, jacks, chain hoist, come-a-long, step ladders, ladders, LED lights, welder, cutting torch, compressor, lots of ammo, reloading equipment, more fishing tackle, boat/motor & trailer, flat deck trailer, computer, flash drives loaded with tons of info from building a gasifier to making gun powder. So even without internet, the info is available 24/7. An SUV 4 wheel drive plus a motor-home with a propane fridge, stove and a bathroom with a shower, to live in while we're building the cabin. So different."
