"Yes there is. I believe some sort of good security should be put in place to help protect what you have. This can be done in a number of different ways. I have security camera's set up, and these are good, but only as long as the power doesn't fail. Trail cam's run on batteries, so are more reliable in the event of a massive power failure. A good dog is another excellent form of security, depending on the breed, a good dog will protect your family to the bitter end. Aside from these, you can run trip wires, traps and snare of various types and sizes in and around where you're living, either inside or outside. Just think...... how safe do you want to be from intruders, and go from there."
