"Hey Rod.....what if you can't find seeds for a garden?"

"If there are no seeds to be found you can grow a lot of veggies from cuttings. For green onions, cut between one and two inches off the end of the onion where the roots are. Stick this in a small glass with about 1/4" of water. Change water every couple of days and the greens will start growing. There are other veggies you can use, like celery, bok choy, ginger, garlic, onions and carrots. The carrots will not regrow, but will produce green tops that you can use in soups and stews. You will use the top of the carrot, whereas the rest of the veggies you will use the bottom where the roots will grow from. There are also a lot of herbs that can grown from cuttings, such as mint, rosemary, basil and sage. Enjoy your new style garden."
